Our galvanized raised beds are made of 0.6mm thick prime steel that has been coated with a layer of zinc to prevent rust and corrosion. They are bottomless, allowing excess water to drain out of the soil, preventing waterlogging and soil compaction. This improves soil aeration, which is essential for healthy plant growth. Our garden beds comply with the European Regulation (REACH), providing a high level of protection for human health and the environment from using harmful chemicals.

In terms of filling the garden beds, a 4x2x2 ft bed will need roughly 16 cubic feet of soil mix, while a 6x2x2 ft bed will require about 24 cubic feet, and an 8x2x2 ft bed will need around 32 cubic feet. The design of our garden beds also ensures they are safe for growing food, as well as being child and animal-friendly. The raised edges and rounded corners eliminate any sharp parts, with added safety rubber edging for peace of mind.
